Job Description: 
We are working exclusively with a major construction contractor, which is now looking for an experienced lawyer to join their Calgary-based legal team in a second chair position. You will have between 5 to 8 years’ experience in construction - ideally a mix of construction dispute work and front-end commercial construction work - gained at a top law firm or in-house.  The role involves managing claims (and potential claims) as they come up across a range of business units, as well as contract drafting, review, and negotiation.  You will also assist in drafting and implementing policies and procedures in a dynamic and fast-paced construction business which has grown rapidly over the last few years.
